Ashland Art Works proudly features work by founding member Elin
Babcock. Elin is a multi – media artist with a background in studio art and
art history. Elin’s current artistic practice is a form of found object sculpture, known as assemblagé. With a sincere interest in repurposing, Elin intuitively selects non-art objects with a unique expression of their own and skillfully assembles them into a unified, balanced, and intelligent whole.
Through this process, Elin transforms objects into a colorful creative expression that adds character to any environment. Fantastic assemblagé works can be experienced in person all month long.

Ashland Art Works is incredibly fortunate to include contributing member Liz Ellingson and her handcrafted artisan jewelry on site. Liz is a trained silversmith and self-taught lapidary artist. She incorporates regionally sourced raw materials when possible. Her unique Silver Rock Design style merges captivating, abstract compositions found in the stone with the strong elegance of sterling silver.
Liz hand cuts her cabochons and fabricates complicated elements from sterling silver. Find a new treasure and enjoy contemporary artisan craft sterling silver jewelry at Ashland Art Works.
